Anhydrite screed is a high-performance, self-leveling flooring solution made from a gypsum-based compound. It is widely recognized for its superior finish, reduced shrinkage, and excellent thermal conductivity, making it a popular choice for underfloor heating systems.
Compared to traditional sand and cement screeds, anhydrite screed is faster to install, easier to level, and suitable for covering larger areas with fewer joints. Its versatility and durability make it an ideal solution for both residential and commercial projects.
Cement-based screed is a traditional flooring solution composed of sand, cement, and water, designed to create a strong, level surface for a wide range of floor finishes. Known for its versatility and durability, it is ideal for projects requiring robust, long-lasting results.
Cement-based screeds are suitable for areas with heavy foot traffic or demanding conditions and can be customized with additives for faster drying or improved performance. This makes them a reliable choice for both residential and commercial applications.
Liquid flow screeding is a modern, self-leveling flooring solution designed to provide a smooth, durable, and seamless finish. This innovative technique uses a fluid application process, making it faster and more efficient than traditional screeds.
It’s especially effective for use with underfloor heating systems, as it provides superior thermal conductivity for even heat distribution. Liquid flow screed is ideal for both residential and commercial projects, offering reduced drying times and excellent results in spaces of all sizes.

Liquid flow screed is a modern, self-leveling flooring solution that offers a smoother and more durable finish than traditional sand and cement screeds. It dries quickly, making it ideal for projects with tight timelines. It’s also perfect for use with underfloor heating systems, as it provides better thermal conductivity, ensuring energy efficiency and even heat distribution throughout your space.
How long does it take for liquid screed to dry and be ready for use?
Liquid screed typically dries at a rate of 1mm per day up to 40mm thickness in normal conditions. For thicker applications, allow 2mm per day. While it’s walkable within 24–48 hours, we recommend waiting for the full drying period before laying flooring to ensure optimal results. If you're working on a tight schedule, we offer accelerated drying solutions to meet your timeline.
Do I need to prepare the site before the screed is installed?
Yes, some basic preparation is required to ensure the best results. The area should be clean, free of debris, and watertight. If underfloor heating is being installed, it must be tested and fully operational before the screed is poured. Don’t worry—our team will provide clear guidance and support throughout the process to ensure everything is ready for installation.
